How Does Moting Work?

If you wish to participate in any given event you may sign-up using our sign-up form.

While Moting said event, you should carry a Moting Charm. These are freely available for download on our Moting Charm Download page.

At the beginning of each event we acknowledge the Moters, then proceed with whatever the event is.

After the event is over, we send an email to each Moter acknowledging his or her participation as part of the Circle.

The above is pretty much it. At least from the perspective of Moting. The Core Circle members have a variety of specific responsibilities and functions which they attend to. Those of us responsible for Moting.org have a variety of tasks demanded of us in order to coordinate the various Moting opportunities. And then there is the dedicated work of those charged with the task of sending the emails after each event. If we list each of the components, it looks a little daunting. But we've been doing this for quite some time and love doing it. When you do what you love doing the work is no longer drudgery, it takes on a different air of service.

So, not to worry. The only parts you, as a Moter, need to worry about are the simple pieces of the puzzle. Consult the list. Find a day and time that work for you. Sign up. Then, Mote.
